Double stimulation (DuoStim)

In May 2024, an important scientific event for reproductive specialists took place in Ukraine, in which the chief physician of our clinic, Olha Olehivna Romanova, took part as a speaker. The topic of the report was: how to optimize the obtaining of high-quality eggs and embryos and shorten the path to the birth of a healthy child for patients with low ovarian reserve?

Premature ovarian failure

Today we would like to dwell upon the significant condition in females that can appear unexpectedly and have a gradual effect on the ability to conceive a baby as well as on the quality of life and female beauty.

What an Rh-negative woman should know

Let's consider what the blood group and the Rh factor are and whether Rh-negative blood is really associated with health risks for the expectant mother or baby.

When a mistake in the choreography costs a life: how do disorders in the set of chromosomes arise?

All basic information about an organism is recorded in its DNA. DNA molecules are long, thin threads that encode instructions for the construction and operation of body structures. In humans, their total length is about three meters; in each cell. In an elegant natural solution, the instruction threads are divided into separate information blocks – chromosomes; conditionally – volumes of instructions.

CURRENT TRENDS IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY.

Every week, there are patients who have been trying to cope with excess weight for a long time. For someone, a fundamental surplus can be 5-6 kg with a normal BMI, others struggle with excess weight almost all their lives with variable success and have a certain number of concomitant health disorders. We will talk about them further.

What is the CGT test?

CGT is a genetic test that determines whether partners are carriers of genetic mutations. The analysis is based on next-generation sequencing (NGS). The CGT test analyzes a wide range of genes that include cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy, fragile X syndrome and many other genetic disorders. CGT is an important test during pregnancy planning - it makes it possible to determine whether there is a risk of having a child with genetic diseases.

Premature ovarian failure

Premature ovarian failure (POF) is a condition in which ovarian function is irreversibly lost in women under the age of 40. This condition occurs in at least 1% of all women and is a serious obstacle to the possibility of conception, negatively affecting women's health.

Does IVF help everyone?

It is believed that IVF is the choice of women who are 40 and older, but statistics says otherwise.

Iinterval nutrition

Intermittent fasting, also known as interval nutrition, can have a variety of effects on the body. It's not just limited calorie intake. Periodic fasting changes hormones and biochemical processes in the body so that fat reserves are used in the best way.
